Our mission is to create an economic culture that sustains life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness in Black communities.
The Baltimore-based organization was founded in 2015 to advocate for the success of Black-owned business and the prosperity of the Black community. We understand the advantages of leveraging the economic buying power as it relates to the principles of our missions. Through fulfillment of our purpose, we encourage and empower people to adopt a lifestyle of fiscal responsibility and responsiveness. Through strategic action, we address and alleviate barriers to success for Black-owned business and community.
The Founder, Ellen Gee, spent the first calendar year building a wide-ranging list of Black-owned businesses while collaborating with local business owners to host events to attract the community to their locations. She looks forward to expanding and creating solutions to the challenges faced by our community.
